The precautions related to adhesive during the production process of glass windows and doors
- Reasonable Gap for Sealing: Ensure a reasonable gap for sealing between window and door frames (5mm-8mm). Gluing should be done in a clean working environment. Before applying the adhesive, clean the surfaces where the glass and aluminum profiles will bond with the silicone sealant. The gluing and curing process should take place within a suitable temperature range (between 4°C and 40°C) to ensure a strong bond between the sealant and the glass and aluminum materials.
- Corner Joints: For extruded corner joints, apply the adhesive before assembling the corners. After extruding the adhesive, promptly clean any excess material.
- Sealing for Butt Joints in Casement Windows: When using butt joints for casement windows, apply a sealant to the butt joint area before assembling the components.
- Glass Retainer Plates for Sliding Windows and Doors: Apply adhesive to the glass retainer plates before assembling them in sliding windows and doors.
- Waterproofing at Frame Corners: For the horizontal and vertical connections of sliding windows and doors, add waterproof gaskets to ensure proper sealing.

The precautions related to adhesive during the installation and production of glass doors and windows
- Cleaning Before Gluing: Before applying adhesive to fix the glass, ensure that both the aluminum frame and the glass are clean. The sealing adhesive should be continuous, smooth, and firmly bonded, without any bubbles, cracks, or detachment.
- Pre-Gluing for Assembled Corner and Joint Materials: For on-site assembly of corner and joint materials, apply adhesive first before joining them.
- Gluing for Exterior Trim: When installing exterior trim, apply adhesive to the trim groove before securing it in place.
- Gluing at the Intersection of Casement Window Components: For the intersection of the middle support and horizontal material in casement windows, apply adhesive on the inner side.
- Gluing at the Joints of Sliding Windows and Doors: For sliding windows and doors, apply adhesive on the inner side at the interface between the sliding components and the frame. If the sliding window has a fixed glass at the bottom, apply adhesive on the upper inner side where the middle horizontal material connects to the frame.
- Sealing the Exterior Frame: After filling the exterior frame, the general contractor should use waterproof cement mortar to fill the joints, leaving a 6mmX8mm groove for exterior wall sealant. The exterior wall sealant should be applied after the wall surface has dried and the groove has been cleaned.
- Pre-Gluing for Hardware Installation: Before installing hardware components such as sliding supports, apply adhesive to the screw surface before tightening them.
